TITIAN BUDAYA - SINGAPORE FILM FESTIVAL

 Titian Budaya 2015 commemorates 50 years of friendship between Malaysia and Singapore. It is presented by Singapore's Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth ( MCCY ) and supported by Malaysia's Ministry of Tourism and Culture ( MOTAC ). Showcasing the creative talents from Singapore and Malaysia, it is an opportunity for Malaysians to appreciate and enjoy the shared culture and heritage of Singapore and Malaysians to appreciate and enjoy the shareculture and hritage of Singapore and Malaysia.Titian Budaya is now coming to a close with the launch of the first-ever Singapore Film Festival in Kuala Lumpur comprising ten films that include popular narrative-fiction, award-winning art-house films, and documentaries. High Commissioner of the Republic of Singapore, Mr. Vanu Gopala Menon launched the four-day festival at the gala opening held at Golden Screen Cinemas in Pavillion Kuala Lumpur on 14 January 2016.
 "We are now come to the final event in the Titian Budaya showcase, and it gives me great pleasure to present the inaugural Singapore Film Festival in Kuala Lumpur. The Film Festival aims to celebrate the diversity of Singapore cinema, which shares asimilar heritage with Malaysia's film industry. We are proud to be able to show ten critically acclaimed and award-winning film over the course of the course of the festival" said Mr.Vanu Gopala Menon during his opening speech. The festival's opening film was 7 Letters.




A UNION OF HUNDRED LIONS, CENTURIES OF PROSPERITY

 Stunning LED Lion Dance Performance, Single High Pole Lion Dance Performance and Chinese New Year dance performance are part of the opening ceremony. The ceremony has been launched by Miss Natalie Leong, Executive Director ( Property Management Commercial ) of Knight Frank Malaysia Sdn.Bhd, Mr.Joseph Teo, Head of Marketing Communications of Sungei Wang Plaza, special artist appearance such as Adrian Tan, Alvin Chung, Eunice Hoo and Amy Wang. The artist are invited to meet the members of public and they share their childhood experiences during Chinese New Year in Sungei Wang Plaza. The artist line up have also sing Chinese New Year songs in Acapella, wishing all shoppers and tenants a Happy Chinese New Year
 The celebration start from 9 January till 14 February 2016, with a lot of exciting performance and event line up during the weekend including different kind of Lion Dance performances, Mask Changing Performances, CNY Mini Kids Dance Performances and many more. Parents with kids can also join the CNY art and craft workshop to learn on how to create decorative arts and craft. MITA FAIR 2016 @ KL CONVENTION CENTER

 MITA ( Malaysian Inbound Tourism Association ) for the very first time will be organizing its first Tourism Fair Carnival this 29th till 31st January 2016 at KL Convention Center. MITA is highly dedicated in inbound market as they have been passionately promoting Malaysia and the Travel Fair all around the world. Based on the Go Domestic Campaign, MITA Tourism Fair targets the potential products that is based on Domestic Tourism in Malaysia for promotional efforts. Besides just popular places in Malaysia, there are still many other products that have potential that’s not covered, MITA 2016 has been paying attention to this and give them a platform for the industry players to take this opportunity to showcase their products.
